Why I Chose This Journey
I chose this journey because I believe representation matters. I’ve always known my voice was meant to serve, my artistry meant to heal, and my leadership meant to shift culture. This pageant gives me the opportunity to amplify that mission on a grander stage. It is a vehicle to deepen my impact, expand my platform, and walk in my truth as a multi-faceted woman.

My Platform: Be Divine - Be Empowered
Be Divine. Be Empowered., is rooted in dance, self-expression, and healing. I use dance as a transformative tool to awaken inner light and restore self-worth. Through this initiative, I will provide access to dance education, creative wellness, and empowering personal and professional development workshops for women and youth in underserved communities. The mission is to not only teach dance arts or choreography, but to inspire confidence, self-love, and leadership through movement. This isn’t just about performing. It’s about permission to take up space, to move freely, and to embrace your whole self without apology.

Be Divine-Be Empowered will be executed through "Be Divine -Through the Arts" via three entities:

-
Youth Empowerment & Leadership Program
My goal is the launch a structured empowerment program for girls that combines dance, mentorship, and leadership training. This program will include workshops where participants learn dance technique and choreography alongside discussions on self-worth, identity, emotional intelligence, and goal-setting. Through movement and guided reflection, youth will cultivate leadership skills, build confidence, and develop a deeper connection to their voice and value.

-
Creative Wellness Workshops for Community Participants
Host pop-up wellness events and community classes centered on healing through movement, mindfulness, and self-expression. These workshops will integrate dance, journaling, meditation, and dialogue to help participants process emotions, reduce stress, and connect to their inner light. Designed especially for women in transitional phases of life, these sessions will foster collective healing, empowerment, and sisterhood.

-
Dance Education Access
Partner with schools, community centers, and local organizations to provide accessible dance programming and residencies in areas with limited arts funding. These residencies will offer both technical training and creative exploration, teaching students not only how to dance but how to use movement as a form of storytelling, resistance, and self-celebration.

A Life of Purpose and Passion
As a dance educator, communication strategist, and creative professional, my life has been a tapestry of passion, service, and leadership. Whether I’m mentoring young girls, leading community programs, or developing digital strategies that elevate Black voices and businesses I bring heart, excellence, and authenticity to all I do. This pageant journey ties every thread of my life together. It honors my heritage, amplifies my platform, and challenges me to grow in faith, femininity, and fierce determination. I am not just wearing a sash I am walking in divine assignment.
